Chilli Pork

Ingredients:
I have not specified the exact quantity of any of the ingredients. The amount depends on the quantity of pork used.
Pork-cut into very small pieces so that it gets cooked quickly
Green chilly
Sweet chilly sauce
Soya sauce
Maida
Cornflour
Egg
Onion-finely chopped
Capsicum-finely chopped
Spring onions-finely chopped
Oil

Method:

Make a semi thick batter by mixing together corn flour, maida, beaten egg, soya sauce, chilly sauce and little amount of green chilly. Add popper powder as per your taste. Make the batter as smooth as possible. The quantity of the batter must be such that it spreads over the entire pork pieces. Heat the pan and add oil enough to deep fry the pork pieces. Add the pork pieces into the batter and mix properly. Fry the pork mix batch by batch. Heat the pan again and pour some oil. Sauté onion, rest of the green chilly, capsicum, spring onions, soya sauce, chilly sauce. When the onion turns brown mix the fried pork pieces into the sauted mixture and the dish is ready.

Chicken is everyone's favorite no matter in which way it is cooked....Here is a Chinese chicken dish I tried at home today..Its easy and doesn't involve many ingredients...So here we go...
Ingredients:
½ kg chicken – boneless and cut into medium pieces
1 tsp oil
For the Marinade:
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
3 tbsp onion paste
1 medium onion - finely chopped
1 tsp soya sauce
1 ½ tsp vinegar
3 tbsp tomato sauce
3 tsp honey(you can vary the amount depending on your taste)
½ tsp mustard powder(this is not a must)
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Method:
• Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
• Marinate the chicken pieces with this mixture for at least 4 hours.

• Sprinkle a little oil onto the pan and spread it out with a cooking brush.
• Heat the pan on low heat and add the chicken pieces.
• Cook over medium heat, till the pieces begin to turn brown.
• Lower the heat and add a cup of water. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on low heat.
• Switch off the burner and keep the pan covered for another 10 minutes. This way the chicken softens and absorbs the flavours well.
• Serve with mayonnaise or honey-lemon dip..

Hope you enjoyed it...
